We made our second trip to Mont Saint-Michel in June. A chance for us to travel during the summer months and to take in this amazing place with our family. The contrast between visiting in the winter off-season and visiting during high-season is remarkable. With our first visit to Mont Saint-Michel the weather was as expected, cold and raining. However, we prepared for this and found it much like that of the Pacific Northwest in States. The reward for visiting in January was having the entire place to ourselves. There were virtually no other travelers on the day we went. On our summer visit in June, there were buses filled with tourists. Lines of people for everything you wanted or needed to do. That being said, it is equally beautiful and the view across the bay was stunning.
